The people of Lowell Township deserve honest and transparent leadership that reflects the will of our people. 

A recall is the legal process of removing elected officials from office before the end of their term. People are recalled for a variety of reasons which include but are not limited to: failing their citizenry, violating the trust, confidence, and safety of the citizens, and/or breaking their oath of office. 

It is abundantly clear that Township Supervisor Hale as well as Trustees Anderson and Thompson have failed us. 

While they make “behind closed door deals” and cater to the wishes of Microsoft, our voices are ignored, our people are neglected, and our wellbeing is willfully overlooked. 

Township Supervisor Jerry Hale said the people of Lowell won’t show up to get involved in township issues, but we continue to show up in defense of our community. Together we have packed meetings, formed grassroots organizations, and transformed our small home town story to a national discussion.

We have repeatedly told the board: “We don’t want this! We don’t want Microsoft! “.

“We don’t want a data center.”

“This doesn’t align with our Master Plan.” 

“This is dangerous.”

“There are better ways to do this.”

“We need to slow down.”

“We don’t consent.”

“We say NO!” 

But our pleas have fallen on deaf ears and deep pockets.

Our voices, history, and land deserve genuine representation.

We deserve officials that value the health and wellbeing of our residents as well as our livelihoods. 

We deserve a board that acts in the interest of our people.

We deserve to be led with bravery and integrity – not stonewalled by intimidation and threats. 

It is time to give the people of Lowell Township a voice and a vote to decide if Jerry Hale, Mark Anderson and William Thompson have lost the confidence of the people who elected them. 

It’s time to vote and take our township back!
